With the aim of raising awareness of the benefits of regular sports practice, the 2023 edition of the “Parcours du cœur” will take place on May 14 in Lasséran.

The Lasséranaise association of voluntary blood donors, the rural home and the municipality of Lasséran invite as many people as possible to participate in the 2023 edition of the “Parcours du cœur” which will take place on Sunday May 14, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. . The French Federation of Cardiology is organizing this event to raise public awareness of the benefits of regular sports practice for everyone’s health.

On Sunday May 14, it will obviously not be a question of breaking records or accomplishing sporting feats, but simply of coming to participate with family, friends or alone; and to take a short walk to please our body, our head but also our heart.

A 4 km “health hike”

This year, after the welcome, coffee and cakes, the organizers will offer four walking routes supervised by two guides through the Gers countryside. A 14 km circuit reserved for experienced hikers which will guide them to Lac de la Castagnère. Registration at 8 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. departure.

A second circuit of 10 km on the variant of the “Lasséranaise loop”. Registration at 9 a.m. for a departure at 9:30 a.m.

A third circuit of 5 km which will lead walkers to “Maouret”. Registration at 10 a.m. for a departure at 10:30 a.m.

And finally, for the first time, a “healthy hike” of around 4 km around the village will be offered, supervised by trained guides, intended for people who wish to walk in a group at a moderate pace, with regular break times. . Registration at 9:30 a.m. for a departure at 10 a.m.

Participation of 2 euros per person

It should be noted that the registrations and the departure of the four circuits will be done from the village hall, where a medical staff (blood pressure measurement and health interview before departure) and an exhibition will inform the participants about the benefits of regular physical activity on health.

If a supply is planned on the longest routes, walkers are invited to take a piece of fruit or a cereal bar to avoid cravings, as well as a little water. On arrival, to reward the participants for their efforts and end this event in a friendly atmosphere, the municipality will offer a pot of friendship.

A contribution of 2 euros per person will be requested to support the action of the French Cardiology Federation.
