The last collection organized offered a good result appreciated by the president Rolande Delord of the Nogaro-Aignan blood donation association. In fact, 81 donors presented themselves today, including 5 new and young donors. For its part, the team of volunteers who receive the technicians from the French Blood Establishment, decided to carry out initiatives to improve and change mentalities for the future: “This time the decision was made to publish donor portraits to encourage more donors; I explain this approach by “the power of example”. Only a few have been published, but all have given permission to display their portrait to communicate, raise awareness and motivate the next donors. It is also necessary to underline and emphasize these young high school students who came after my intervention during the citizen week to promote donation among young people. The next collections will take place on July 31 in Nogaro and September 11 in Aignan.
