Children, families and professionals gathered at the IME Pierre Sarrault, in Montauban to celebrate World Autism Day. This day closed all the events carried out in the Tarn-et-Garonne department by various partners. Several activities organized by the children and the professionals of the establishment punctuated this sunny afternoon. A solidarity march, symbolized by blue scarves, kicked off this event. A cloud of blue smoke, music, bubble machines awaited the participants upon their arrival. This was followed by a release of 250 racing pigeons; the boxes were opened by the children of the establishment. This action symbolizing peace and freedom. To liven up the afternoon, the professionals and children had concocted a show of songs and participatory choreography. To finalize this event in style, all the guests shared a convivial and dancing tea party. Throughout the day, each child, family… Was able to leave their mark in creative activities in order to immortalize this day. The IME Pierre Sarraut thanks all the participants and more particularly Frédéric Hennel, Philippe Rescousery, Patrick Frauciel and Alain Foussadier members of the association “Les messagers Montalbanais” who made it possible, by the loan of pigeons, to open this beautiful solidarity day.
