The 37-year-old nurse, victim of a man suffering from psychiatric disorders, died on the night of Monday to Tuesday, the day after an attack which aroused great emotion. “I don’t know if we can associate the a priori act of an unbalanced person with the rise in general violence faced by all the depositaries of a form of state authority”, underlined Olivier Véran, while by inviting us to “question ourselves on a form of continuum between the violence of social networks, the verbal violence to which the political class sometimes indulges and these everyday acts of violence which can affect everyone”.
