In the preamble to the film “Une Vie démente” directed by Ann Siro and Raphaël Balboni and screened at Le Gascogne cinema, Mayor Jean-François Rousse and Jean-Marc Pinaud, president of the France Alzheimer association in Gers, signed the charter of reciprocal commitments “City helping Alzheimer”. Also present were Monique Gensac, volunteer referent of the Condom sector, and Hélène Delpech, deputy mayor in charge of social affairs, solidarity and education. After Mirande and Lectoure, Condom becomes the 3rd town in the department to sign the “City helping Alzheimer’s” charter. By joining it, the municipality shows its desire to promote the inclusion and autonomy of people with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disease in the public space. Three major axes are at the heart of the actions to be carried out jointly with France Alzheimer 32 according to the means, resources and local specificities of the city: orientation, inclusiveness and awareness.
