Today or tomorrow, we are or will be helping a fragile person, an elderly parent, a sick relative. Being listened to, heard, understood, but also receiving sound advice allows you to feel supported and to continue to move forward while feeling supported.
The support and respite platform for caregivers, funded by the Regional Health Agency and supported by Apas 82 (Promotion, Autonomy and Health Association), aims to support people who accompany an elderly parent, a loved one patient with memory problems and/or loss of autonomy. The platform team, as part of its support for caregivers, can also meet you at home for a more individual listening.
As part of its missions, the support and respite platform for caregivers, in partnership with the French Association of Caregivers, offers you a caregivers’ café, on Monday May 15 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on the premises of the ‘Apas 82, located at 25, rue Lavoisier in Caussade. Please register on 05 63 20 57 21. Whether you are directly or indirectly concerned, caregiver, friend, neighbour, the caregivers’ café is a friendly and warm moment to discuss but also be informed about the disease, the effects aging, possible aid, how to facilitate and improve daily life, etc. Yohana Colé or Sabrina Pinto, professionals in the field, will welcome you and lead these meetings. The next caregiver coffee in Caussade will take place on Monday, June 19th. These meetings are free.
