Two senior health days for people aged 60 and over will be organized from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The premiere will take place in Gramat on Tuesday, June 13; the second will be held in Figeac on Monday 19 June.

The Mutualité Française Occitanie invites seniors, as part of the Conference of Funders for the Prevention of Loss of Autonomy, to a day of road safety awareness. Around professional interventions, individual screenings and fun workshops will be organized to guarantee everyone the best mobility conditions, whatever the means of transport used.

In the morning, there will be a workshop review of the highway code with a driving instructor. At noon, a meal will be taken together with a dessert offered by the Mutualité Française Occitanie.

In the afternoon, a specialist in automobile contracts will advise you on how to properly complete an amicable report. A specialist speaker will then present the risks associated with taking substances (alcohol, medication, etc.). A bike educator will give advice on how to maintain your bike properly and will remind you of the safety rules.

Participants will be able to learn about the practice of electric bikes or scooters.

A driving workshop (practical workshop) will be set up with a driving school instructor who will guide and advise you on how to tackle the road with confidence.

Finally, a nurse will assess the participants’ individual abilities (memory, nutrition, mobility, etc.) and an optician will carry out vision screenings.

These days are free but on registration on 05 31 48 11 55 (9 am – 12.30 pm / 2 pm – 6 pm from Monday to Thursday and until 4 pm on Friday).

Precise locations provided upon registration. For you and your loved ones. Within the limit of available seats.
