Beneficiary of a bone marrow transplant, Michel Rouanet had taken advantage of his convalescence to publish a collection of texts “Plume de piaf”, promising to donate the profits to the Association of bone marrow transplant recipients of Midi-Pyrénées.

For 20 years, these volunteers have worked at the Oncopole de Toulouse and have acquired the knowledge to use each donation received wisely. Whether at the research level or in the support and well-being of patients of all ages in long hospitalization, but also in the follow-up after their discharge if necessary, the association is always present and attentive.

Michel thus donated €1,000 to this structure and would like to thank those who bought his book in the shops that also played the game: L’As de clover, the Azéma pharmacy, the Cabinet infirmier place de la Mairie, O Brico d’Oc, JM Brassac, taxis in Haut Languedoc but also Abélia services in Castres, the Thoré grocery store in Lacabarède and the Press point in Vabre. He also thanks our newspaper which contributed to the success of his modest approach and especially the caregivers of the Oncopole who allowed him to regain his health and keep his word!
