The association of the paralyzed in France (APF-France handicap) in Tarn-et-Garonne held its annual general meeting in the salons of Ameria, avenue Marcel Unal, in Montauban.

The meeting was opened by Marie-Laure Fraux, representative on the APF FH 82 council, in the presence of Hélène Vallantin-Dulac, member of the national council. The first file concerned inclusive housing, a major project monitored by Hélène Kopp, project manager, as well as by Maeva Crespo at the regional level.

Several projects are under study in the department. To benefit from it, autonomy is necessary.

Other points discussed: the accessibility policy, the 90th anniversary of the association and the new territory of the association.

APF-France handicap is now organized in 3 departments: Aveyron with four sites, Lot with two sites, Tarn-et-Garonne with two sites. This represents 85 regular volunteers for 12,185 hours of work.

In August 2022, a new territorial director was appointed. This is Laurence Amigues. The association organizes workshops, meals, meetings, film screenings, awareness-raising actions, promotion of accessibility and other actions in favor of caregivers. It has a Hand-Droits service to help and assist those concerned. Prospects are subject to the new territory for new projects but the teams are at work.
