From Tuesday July 4 to Thursday July 6, it is possible to donate blood in the Odette Courderc room opposite the fire station. Collection is from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Attendance at donation centers and mobile blood drives by blood donors is down sharply. More than ever, it is very important to stay mobilized and to donate blood regularly. To date, there is no product capable of replacing human blood. Blood donation is therefore essential to treat certain diseases. From an administrative point of view, nothing very complicated! Only a few formalities need to be respected. For a first donation, you must present yourself with an identity document: national identity card, passport or residence permit. For regular donors, the donor card is accepted, as well as a transport card or a vital card. Each year, one million patients are cared for thanks to blood donation, and every day, 10,000 blood donations are needed to meet the needs.
