In her apartment in Lameilhé, Valérie’s mother-in-law falls down the stairs. “She had a very bad fall and was hospitalized. Since then, beautiful mom is better and should be the first tenant of the future residence of 70 apartments for independent seniors, carried by the 50-year-old Castraise. “All we put into this project was saying to ourselves: if tomorrow my father, my mother has to come to this residence, what can we do to make them feel good.”
70 apartments from T1 to T3
In the audience, the vast majority of whom were of an advanced age, many recognized themselves in Valérie’s demonstration. Starting with Florence, who came to take information for her grandmother: “With my parents, we are looking for something for my grandmother that would combine the collective aspect with that of independence. I came to fill out a visit voucher for a T2 and get information on rents and services offered”. Start of visits to the show apartment on June 12 for the residence which offers 70 rental units (18 T1, 44 T2 and 8T3 with private gardens). Jacques, 73, is already preparing for the future: “I am reaching a somewhat advanced age, I live in a house with stairs and a large plot. I came to find out about this project because it might interest me: I I’m single, we can live independently and safely. It would be a mental comfort.”
Same desire for Jean-Pierre and Régine, retired couple in Cambounet-sur-le-Sor, who filled out a visit voucher: “We have a big house, a big lot. For later, if we’re fed up, it would perhaps be a withdrawal while staying here. The advantages: “You feel at home in a beautiful environment, the residence looks nice. The single storey is very important: it’s less tiring.”
“We already live on one level but we live alone. In the residence, we would no longer be”, confides a retiree, who came with her husband, who has made renting an option for the future. “In purchase we find very little, so why not rent”, slips sir.
Nestled between the commercial area of Siala and the nursing home, the Clos du Ségala must be delivered by the middle of January 2024.
