Just after the trial, we learned that the real man with the knife was arrested this weekend and committed to a psychiatric hospital.

The real menacing individual in crisis of dementia
Especially since at the end of the trial, we learned that the real man with the knife had been arrested this weekend, for the intrusion into the basements of the nursing home and had been interned in the process. In a crisis of dementia, he had uttered eccentric words, creating a climate of fear among the nursing staff, without direct threat.
Contacted, the management of the Castres-Mazamet hospital, on which the Villégiale depends, confirms “the intrusion of an individual into the basement of the Villégiale Saint Jacques, in possession of cutlery and making threatening remarks.”
And to clarify:He did not enter the accommodation and care areas, and spoke to the two agents present in the basement. After making a few disturbing remarks with them, he left the scene. The alert has been given and a complaint has been filed.

Before requiring 1 year in prison, the prosecution represented by Freddy Marta had recalled: “Anyone on the national territory must accept an identity check.” The lawyer for the three police officers, Me Philippe Pérès, completes: “They did their job: it was to control. I regret his same denials today as in the procedure. This way of seeing things must be sanctioned.”
The court finally decided to punish the defendant with 8 months in prison, with continued detention and to compensate the police officers at 1100€ (in common). His defender, Mr.e Escande, for his part, renewed his desire to access the viewing of the videos on board the officials: “Amazingly, each time, we never have the video…” he scolded during the trial.
