The recall concerns Carrefour brand “Black Forest” raw ham possibly contaminated with listeria sold in 100-gram trays between May 16 and June 2.

Not all hams are good… The government platform Rappel Conso has published a new alert concerning a product appreciated by aperitif and charcuterie lovers: “Black Forest” raw ham from the Carrefour brand. The reminder has been broadcast since Monday, June 5.

The recall concerns ham possibly contaminated with listeria sold in 100-gram trays between May 16 and June 2 in Carrefour stores. Authorities are advising potential owners of the product to no longer consume it, throw it away or bring it back to their store for a refund.

Go to the doctor in case of consumption of the product

“People who have consumed the ‘products’ mentioned above and who have a fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor, notifying him of this consumption”, explains the site. Conso reminder before adding that “serious forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur.”
