The Montalbanaise association of Super Heroes, which fights against pediatric cancers, has been extended with the creation of another association, Crazy Road Trip, responsible for organizing solidarity rallies. The two associations, which have around thirty volunteers, are chaired by Soraya Follet. To close the second edition of the Rallye des Super Héros, which took place from May 21 to 27, Crazy Road Trip organized a gala evening on Saturday evening at Sapiac. The opportunity to look back on the highlights of this week. Four crews traveled 3,000 km to reach the haemato-paediatric oncology departments of ten University Hospital Centers (Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, Rouen, Lille, Nancy, Besançon, Lyon, Montpellier and Toulouse). Including the local crew of San and Ro (Sandrine and Rose). “We wanted to share our rally with all our private partners, companies, traders and institutions, town hall, county council, who supported us. At each stage, we were received very warmly by caregivers, parents, children and local elected officials. We were able to offer toys, school materials, books, helmets in all services”. Each crew had collected donations. The president thanked the association’s two sponsors, Dimitri Vaotoa, USM Rugby player and Hugo Lavedan, Drift pilot in the French Championship. “We will continue our actions to help sick children and their families, meet the needs of hospital services, provide financial aid in emergency situations according to our means”.
