The Limoux hospital center is joining forces with the e-ophthalmology telemedicine network to offer residents of the town and surrounding areas three days of workshops to raise awareness of good eye health.
People over 60, the public targeted by e-ophthalmo, will be able to attend three workshops spaced out over time.
THE June 22the first session will raise awareness of good gestures and habits to adopt, while the second (the July 20) will instead focus on the importance of visual checks.
For the last session, the September 28, participants can come with their grandchildren for family eye yoga. During this last day, a screening for glaucoma and other eye diseases will also be offered free of charge.
The goal : “to make people actors of their visual health”, in a daily life where the deadlines for consulting an ophthalmologist are “always too long”note e-ophthalmologist.
