Saturday, June 10 at the beginning of the afternoon, training in life-saving gestures was offered free of charge to the inhabitants of the village in the multipurpose room of Larroque-Toirac. It was provided by Corporal Virginie Diguet and First Class Sapper Christophe Clemente, both volunteer firefighters at the Cajarc rescue center. This local training, the result of a partnership between Groupama and the Lot firefighters, is part of a national approach aimed at enabling many French people to learn behaviors that save lives.

Those present were made aware of how to secure the accident, assess the state of the victim, ask for help and perform first aid. At the end of the day, they received a training certificate. The participants warmly congratulated their trainers who brilliantly led the afternoon with their pedagogy and friendliness. The municipality thanked Nathalie Pradines, president of the local Groupama fund, who contributed to the purchase of a defibrillator in the village hall.
