A competition that took place in Nice, not to be confused with the other Mister France competition. “In France, this competition is not very widespread, the committee has only existed for three years. But abroad, it is well known”, assures Bastien Chaubet, who will therefore be able to participate in the Mister Grand competition. internationally, in November, in Vietnam.
Salesman and model
A great consecration for the one who has accumulated a full-time permanent contract as a salesman in the green and motorcycle department, at Gamm Vert Foix, and has been modeling for four years. Thanks to his national title and the upcoming competition, the Fuxéen hopes “to become a professional model, that’s my goal. For the moment, I don’t live from it yet”. He intends to seize the opportunity to join Fashion Week, and could appear on television, in the show Ninja Warrior, if he is selected in the casting.
His beautiful star should continue to bring him luck, as in his debut. Indeed, when he was 18, he was noticed by a photographer from Saint-Jean-de-Verges Joséphine Bot who took him as a model for photo shoots. Then, Bastien Chaubet enrolled in a Toulouse agency and “worked everywhere in France”. And thanks to his Instagram account, he was canvassed by Mister grand France to participate in the event.

An experience that brought her modeling skills in order to professionalize herself. “In Nice, we spent four days preparing, especially for the speech and the parade. Two things I didn’t know how to do, since I shoot in the studio. It was very good to make sure to use the good term and to parade in front of 300 people. You shouldn’t stutter either”, explains Mister Grand France.
Nor does he forget the “human adventure” that this represents. Elements of language that we usually hear in Miss. “But it’s true! In three days, we have forged incredible bonds between us. Everyone left to experience the same performances, not a competition. Very attached to Ariège
As for the criticism of being a boy and attempting beauty contests, Bastien Chaubet did not suffer. “I have always been supported, be it family, friends. The competition in Nice was broadcast live, many people followed me to give me their support. It touched me deeply. My loved ones experienced it like a football match”.
From now on, Bastien Chaubet will focus on the international title to win and take the opportunity to communicate on an event unknown to the French. He is leaving for Nice next week to present himself to the media. “For the girls, it’s too publicized but for the boys, it’s not enough. So I’m going to promote the committee.”
He will also take the opportunity to say a few words of praise on the Ariège. “I realized that no one knew where it was. We know Toulouse but not Ariège. I want to highlight Ariège and represent it well. It’s so beautiful here, we’re very lucky” , affirms the one who does not fail to specify his origin: “I was born in the old hospital of Foix”.
