As part of European Vaccination Week, the town of Eauze, in collaboration with the Regional Health Agency and the Gers Departmental Vaccination Center, offered a morning of information and awareness-raising at a stand on Thursday, market day. in the capital of Armagnac.
Such an initiative seems necessary. Indeed how many people are aware of their vaccination against tetanus, few it is true and this action of information can only be beneficial.
Moreover, the Director of the ARS, Didier Pier Florentin, is a fervent defender of these actions aimed at informing people in a department whose health must be one of the major problems in view of the aging of the population, the difficulty of moving people who come to add to the dilapidation of certain dwellings.
Also to overcome this deficiency, Mr. Florentin is pleased to be able to rely on mayors like Mr. Gabas and others (not all of them, unfortunately) to improve sanitary conditions in this department, a large part of which is rural.
Also on Thursday June 15, still in Eauze, a free vaccination may be offered by the Gers Vaccination Center.
