Nicole, resident of the accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people (Ehpad) in Samatan, recounts the latest events that took place within the establishment: “After having walked in a horse-drawn carriage on Tuesday in the streets of Samatan in company of the residents of Lombez, “Greg” the one-man band came the next day to animate the afternoon. Songs, music and for the most independent among us, a few dance steps. We were even treated to a demonstration of a magical “Paquito” by the host and some staff members. Then we tasted the snack made and offered by the VMEH volunteers. There were even cakes left over for dinner”. The week continued with an intergenerational lottery: “The students of the CP class of the public school of Samatan came to sit next to us for a lottery. Babeth had requested the generosity of the departmental council and many merchants of Lombez and Samatan”. After the snack, the children left with their arms full of presents.
