The ADMR network has existed for fifty-eight years and Danielle Bori has been implementing her objectives within the local association of Albias for forty years, which are personal assistance services and the creation of local jobs. Over the years, the sector has evolved and the missions have been expanded: maintenance of the house, services and care for seniors, but also support for the disabled, as well as childhood and parenthood. “It’s a job from the heart and I love people, she says. When families call on us, we must avoid judgment, respect their life choices and preserve their autonomy.” She knows all the workings of this profession oh so! difficult and is delighted with the latest social advances, just recognition with regard to the employees whose discretion she demands above all, because “we enter the heart of the home, in the same way as the priest or the doctor…”. Attentive to others and discreet, she largely associates her longevity with the volunteers who surround her and whom she warmly thanks.
