In September, a new fascia gym class activity will be offered at the MJC in Massaguel. Sarah Avril will lead this course on Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., in the association room.

The gym of the fascias is a slow movement of the body which, by the sliding of the tissues and the respect of the physiology, favors a fluid mobility of the gestures, refines the perceptions, allows to feel a deep and global relaxation, for a better- physical, physiological and psychic being.

Fascia is tissue found throughout our body, which wraps around muscles, nerves, bones and blood vessels. Fundamental element of the human body, they separate, support and connect the different structures. Sensory gymnastics is a well-being practice developed by Danis Bois, osteopath and physiotherapist, founder of fasciatherapy. It includes a number of basic exercises to practice while sitting or standing. The fascia gym is for everyone, regardless of age.

Sarah Avril also receives in her office located in Dourgne for individual sessions of fasciatherapy (manual therapy) and fascia gym. At the same time, it offers workshops and dance and movement lessons.
