The children of the communal school carried out their mission and recovered the words that had disappeared. This is the theme of the tale that was offered to them by the musical and poetic theater troupe Carri’Olé last Friday. The children, the “Little Green Riding Hoods”, had well prepared these words which they had written with tenderness for the elderly residents of the Les Jardins d’Agapé nursing home in Auch. The children were responsible for taking a cake and notes to our elders who were waiting for their visit on a firm footing with songs prepared for the occasion.

Admittedly, the time was “word-ssade”, but our “mar-words” were “word-tived” to succeed in their challenge. They even braved the “word-stics” and their terrible disease! They were helped in their endeavor by the team of animators-poets of the “Wolves”, led by the great “Wolf-Bard”, who knew how to mix poetic and musical research with tenderness, energy, motivation and passion.

It was an extraordinary day, very moving, which saw an exchange of songs between children and residents, then gifts and casual discussions around a snack. There is no doubt that these moments will remain in all the memories of the children.
