The LIDER Diabetes association (Lions International Diabetes Screening and Research) has set itself the task of raising awareness of the risks of diabetes and fighting against this disease by screening for it throughout France. “Diabetes screening is not the only action taken by Lions. Examples include guide dogs for the blind, the white cane, the sound library, autism and many other permanent or one-off actions during natural disasters. Our motto “We Serve” is the driving force that engages Lions to provide help and support when there is a problem.”
