Accidents
6-20-12 – A two vehicle accident occurred at Sunshine Village in Toulon. Driver
Fred R. Hogate, 73, of Brimfield, pulled into a parking lot and ran into a SUV owned
by Frazier E. Burwell, 69, of Wyoming. There were no injuries reported or citations issued.
Incidents
6-20-12 – Shawn M. Stein, 21, Peoria, was arrested and charged with battery. He
was taken to the Stark County Jail where he remains in custody unable to post bond.
His bond was set at ten percent of $10,000.
6-21-12 – Jason D. Eklund, 32, Big Rock, Tennessee, was arrested on a Bureau
County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge for operating an uninsured
vehicle. He posted $150 cash bond and was released with a new court date.
6-21-12 – Steven L. Chesser, Bradford, reported a theft from the Penn Township
after discovering a culvert missing from the property.
6-21-12 – Criminal damage to property was discovered to a camping trailer parked
at the Allendale Conservation Club. The trailer owners were reported as Lonny and
Carrie Howard, of Galva. The incident remains under investigation.
6-21-12 - A child custody dispute was handled at a rural Bradford residence.
6-23-12 - Corey M. Baker, 20, of Bradford, was arrested for illegal possession or
consumption of alcohol by a minor and illegal transportation of alcohol.
